Women's Studies Survey Results

This is a bit of a different post for my blog, but I thought it would be interesting to share the results of a survey I conducted over social media for my Women's Studies Final. My final project for my class covers the topic of Feminism. To help with my final, I sent out a survey to friends, family and social media followers to see what kind of response I got. The results were very interesting and I would like to share them with you all along with a few key statistics that popped out to me personally.

The Questions

First, lets take a look at the 10 questions that were asked on the survey:

  1. How do you identify?

  2. Age

  3. Political Alignment

  4. Do you consider yourself to be a feminist?

  5. Have you ever taken any type of Women's Studies course?

  6. Have you experienced gender discrimination?

  7. Is there a gap between gender equality for men and women?

  8. How do you view the feminist movement?

  9. Have you ever had a woman as a boss/manager?

  10. Do you have a favorite feminist celebrity?

My Thoughts

I always enjoy looking at statistics and seeing a breakdown of who said what. Obviously these were all anonymous and I have no idea who answered what, but it was fun for me to get a look at what people in the community think in regards to the topic of Feminism.

As I noted, everything in red is something that is either interesting or surprising to myself. You may or may not feel the same way. I hope you enjoyed taking a look at these results and again I want to say Thank You to everyone who took a minute to fill out the survey for my final project.
